Her Excellency Professor the Honourable Kate Warner, The Governor of Tasmania gave a welcoming speech and welcomed the ACS interstate members to Tasmania and congratulated the Tasmanian branch on bring the National Awards to Tasmania for the first time. Guests were treated to a reception at Government House Tasmania and mingled together to celebrate the Awards opening.
