Panasonic Varicam and Don Mcalpine ACS ASC at this years ACS Drop In

Our March 2016 Drop In featured a presentation by Mathew Alexander from Panasonic Australia of the latest addition to the Varicam Cinema Camera family the VaricamLT.

This new camera shares the Varicam DNA of the Varicam35 but in a smaller, lighter package designed more for single operator use. It also shares the same S35 native 4K sensor, the same Varicam colour science and comes standard with EF mount and PL mount option.

As well as the VaricamLT presentation Aussie DP legend Don McAlpine ACS ASC was on hand to talk about his reasons for choosing and his experience of shooting with Varicam35s on his latest feature film Ali’s Wedding.
