I’m sorry to inform you of the passing of Trevor Hone, one of Queensland’s most esteemed cinematographers, who passed away in the Philipines after a short illness.
Trevor’s formative days were in Queensland where he enjoyed great success as a freelance cinematographer. Trevor was recognised for always encouraging and guiding new and emerging talent, and this continued when he eventually moved to the Philipines to work.
His body of work was prodigious and his high end tvc’s were to be admired for their stylish visual content, which was Trevor’s trademark. I knew Trevor, and worked with him, and I can safely say his legacy is second to none…..
Our thoughts are with his wife Dyna, his son’s Toby and Andrew, extended family and friends at this sad time.
