My condolences to the family and friends of Mick at what is such a sad and difficult time. I would like to share some memories of Mick who I met very early in my film industry life. During the later part of Micks career he was generous enough to teach film students at North Sydney TAFE. I was lucky enough to be one of that cohort. He was a such a gentleman and a very patient teacher with a great sense of humour..
His passion for and knowledge of cinematography was infectious and I thank him for taking the time out to pass on his passion and vast experience accumulated over such a varied and successful cinematography career.
RIP Mick, you will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

Mick was the 24th accredited member of the society recieving his accreditation in 1963.
