Reg Perier ACS

Reg Perier ACS inducted into the Hall of Fame 2014.

Reg Perier was born in 1909, the youngest son of Albert Jaques Perier, who was a pioneer of motion pictures in Australia. Reg was educated in film production by his father and became a top documentary cinematographer and producer having established Perier Prod’s. His father held the first licence in Australia for Lumber Film Equipment.

Reg became a founding committee member of the Australian Cinematography Society and was very active in its establishment. Reg received the 19th Accreditation of the society on the 25th November 1963 and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2014.
