Bill Lambert (d. May 2024)
From John Seale AM ACS ASC
Vale Bill Lambert.
Bill was a man whose unbridled passion for the film industry, his support for the crews, and his pursuit of excellence, knew no boundaries. He passes on a legacy of energy and enthusiasm that is admired by us all, young or old. The film industry has lost a devout pioneer, to be remembered by many, and missed by all.
From David Lewis ACS
Bill Lambert influenced many people over his long career from working in Drama in the early days to Television commercials in his latter working years, especially in his time at Ross Wood productions. I first met Bill on the TV series Boney (Fauna Productions) way back in 1972 and remained good friends with him and his family. Bill will be missed
RIP Bill
From Simon Duggan ASC ACS
Bill was the first person I met at my interview at Ross Wood Productions straight out of high school. I went on to work and travel the world on commercials with him as Production Manager, DP Graham Lind, Eddie Hendel as Gaffer and myself as AC. Bill was always positive and with a great sense of humour. A random memory that came to me was Bill’s note pad that lived in his top pocket that he took pride in as his only record keeper of all production notes, reservations & transactions on every job, never failed,
RIP Bill
Simon
