ACS 28th June 2018 AMENDMENT TO QANTAS DANGEROUS GOODS GROUP 160wh LIGHTPRO BATTERY WARNING TO MEMBERS:

The ACS wishes to advise that the previous warning related only to LightPro 160wh batteries labelled 11ah, 14.8 volt being not permitted to travel apply only to batteries sold before 2017 by Dragon Image.

Recent & current LightPro 160wh batteries sold by Dragon Image equate to 158wh are within the QFDGG parameters and are permitted to travel as passenger baggage, as per the Qantas ACS Member Approval to Carry 2018 letter.

The ACS confirms that the original CASA/QFDGG warning in no way reflects on any current Dragon Image product and our members continue to successfully use the Dragon Image LightPro range of LiIon products.
