National eNews and much much more....

Message from the President

Greetings ACS friends and colleagues,

The month of July is here, and with it the opportunity for eligible ACS members to apply for Accreditation and the right to use the letters ACS after their name.

Information in the "Presidents Report Link" Below

An early reminder to assist you in planning your ACS Awards for Cinematography entries this year All Branch Awards Entries will now open on 1st August & Close 18th August…. NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED. This is a small window so I recommend you start thinking about your Awards entry material now.

The Screen Production Workplace Safety Code, is an initiative that affects us all. Here is an opportunity to have your say about what works and what doesn't and where the traps are for young players relating to SAFETY ON SET.…..

PLEASE take a few moments to have a look and have your say. We want, and we have to make our workplace safe for all. MEAA is requesting your feedback by Friday July, 14 check the Draft Screen Production Workplace Safety Code via the link article below.

Finally, keep us informed as to what you’re shooting so we can let the members know.

Simply send us an ACS POSTCARD to either myself or eNews editor, Lizz Vernon.

Until next time
Ron Johanson OAM ACS
ACS National President
